About Emma
During my childhood, art was a constant companion, fueling my imagination. As I got older, painting was pushed aside. Until in 2021, amidst personal loss, I turned back to art for solace and healing.
I discovered that painting offered a unique form of escape, that allowed me the space and time to heal. This sparked my interest in the science behind art therapy and how our brains act during painting. I learnt that creative activities enhance the brain's plasticity, promoting relaxation, reducing stress and improving emotional resilience. Realising that traditional meditation isn't accessible to everyone, and recognising the challenges non-artists face with art, I was driven to develop a workshop that could be experienced by a wider audience. .
I created a multi-sensory workshop approach that integrates the benefits of meditation with the engagement of the mind through art, providing a space that promotes relaxation and healing.
In addition to leading workshops, I continue to create bespoke pieces, often inspired by nature, painted full of colour to bring vibrancy and energy to peoples homes.
